You can still make a room reservation but neither the hotel's national reservations phone line or the online computer system will give you our special reduced convention rate. However, we may be able to arrange for you to get the con rate anyway. Go ahead and book your reservation at the off the street rate. The hotel will send you a confirmation email. Forward this email to us at: hotel at ovff.org and we will request that your reservation be changed to the con rate.

If you experience ANY problems making a reservation, just let us know and we will do our best to fix things for you.

Reservations

You can make your room reservation online via the hotel's website. Use the code OV1 in the Group Code field to get our special convention room rate.

You can also make your reservation via the hotel's toll-free number (800-870-0349). When speaking with a live person, we recommend that you spell out our name as "Ohio Valley Filk Fest"; don't abbreviate it as OVFF.

Directions and Transportation

Located north of the city, the Doubletree Hotel Columbus/Worthington offers an upscale design in a popular suburban setting. Conveniently located within the Crosswoods development right off St. Rte 23 and the I-270 outerbelt, the hotel is surrounded by more than 25 fine restaurants and a movie theatre complex. Just minutes away from Worthington Industries, JP Morgan Chase, PPG Industries, and the new Polaris Fashion Place Mall. Enjoy championship golf tournaments 10 minutes away from our hotel at the Muirfield Village Golf Club or plan a fun day at the Columbus Zoo.

From the AIRPORT

The hotel operates a free shuttle to and from the airport. Call the hotel and ask to speak to the FRONT DESK a couple of weeks before the con and tell them your arrival time. They will arrange to have the shuttle waiting for you. Please do not wait until the last second; the hotel needs some advance notice to coordinate pickups and schedule a driver accordingly. The shuttle service is normally available from 6 am until 10 pm daily. And don't forget to tell them when you want a ride BACK to the airport after the con is over!

From the SOUTH - (Cincinnati)
Take I-71 North through Columbus to I-270 West. Continue on I-270 West to exit #23 (US Rte 23) heading North towards Delaware. At the first traffic light, turn right onto East Campus View Blvd. Turn right at the next light onto High Cross Blvd. When High Cross ends you will be facing the Doubletree Hotel Columbus/Worthington.

From the NORTHEAST - (Cleveland)
Take I-71 South to I-270 West. Continue on I-270 West to exit #23 (US Rte 23) heading North towards Delaware. At the first traffic light, turn right onto East Campus View Blvd. Turn right at the next light onto High Cross Blvd. When High Cross ends you will be facing the Doubletree Hotel Columbus/Worthington.

From the WEST - (Indianapolis)
Take I-70 East to I-270 North. Continue on I-270 North to exit #23 (US Rte 23) heading North towards Delaware. At the first traffic light, turn right onto East Campus View Blvd. Turn right at the next light onto High Cross Blvd. When High Cross ends you will be facing the Doubletree Hotel Columbus/Worthington.

From the EAST - (Pittsburgh)
Take I-79 South to I-70 West. Continue on I-70 West to Columbus. Once you enter Columbus City Limits you need to take I-270 North towards Cleveland. Continue on I-270 North to exit #23 (US Rte 23) heading North towards Delaware. At the first traffic light, turn right onto East Campus View Blvd. Turn right at the next light onto High Cross Blvd. When High Cross ends you will be facing the Doubletree Hotel Columbus/Worthington.

From the NORTHWEST - (Toledo)
Take I-75 South to US Rte 15 East, which will become US Rte 23 South. Continue on US Rte 23 South to Columbus. Shortly after entering Columbus City limits, you pass through the intersection of US Rte 23 South and Flint Rd. You need to get in the far Left lane as you will be turning left onto East Campus View Blvd. at the next traffic light. Turn right at the next light onto High Cross Blvd. When High Cross ends you will be facing the Doubletree Hotel Columbus/Worthington.
