Mail is heavy upon my shoulders, blade is whetted and feeling keen.
Surcoat clean now of marks upon it, stains of blood and past defeats.
For this night we go to the tower, all our foes will be waiting there.
We shall meet at the midnight hour, (and) destiny       hovers in the air...

At midnight at the tower, friends and foes will all gather.
Fate will have her hour, all her strands wove together.
Men of blood and power, who will win tonight - at the tower ?

Sky is clear, the stars come out now, patterns swirl for the wise to see.
Tonight the moon again is shadowed, mark of Fate, through our history,
From the stars, even from the gutter, those who know say tonight's the night.
Though of many signs they mutter, none can see who will win this fight...

At midnight at the tower, friends and foes will all gather.
Fate will have her hour, all her strands wove together.
Men of blood and power, who will win tonight?  Who will win tonight ...?

Books and songs, old tales and ballads,
I've hid in them for too many years.
Always scared to fight my battles,
But now it's time to face my fears...

At midnight at the tower, friends and foes will all gather.
Fate will have her hour, all her strands wove together.
Men of blood and power, who will win tonight? Who will win tonight ...?

At midnight at the tower, friends and foes will all gather.
Fate will have her hour, all her strands wove together.
Men of blood and power, who will win tonight?
We will win tonight
