The Faithful Sidekicks are the acoustic geek/filk comedy musical duo of Eric and Jen Distad. They started making music together in 2004 but it wasn't until they combined Eric's love of songwriting with Jen's skills in Improv Comedy that they found their musical passion and started having enormous fun in the process. Now, they write and perform catchy original (mostly) comedic songs about the geeky/fannish things that they love, with topics ranging from Star Trek to SQL Code and everything in between. Based in Oregon City in Oregon, they have been delighting audiences together at coffee shops, SF Conventions and small venues around the US, Canada, and even Germany since 2014.

They have released 3 CDs - *.* And Other Star Things, Achievement Unlocked, and Our Kind of Strange.
