Peter Alway IF

Peter Alway has been involved in filk music since his eldest brother Dave introduced him to filk by dragging him to FKO and OVFF in 2003. Peter's main axes are the mountain dulcimer and baritone ukulele—instruments that are humanly playable because their four strings match the number of fingers opposing each thumb. He tries to maintain a balance of instrumental music, silly songs about squirrels and hedgehogs, and pretty songs about the universe and the miracle of music itself.

Peter teaches introductory astronomy part-time at a community college, and publishes modeling reference books for rocket hobbyists, full of diagrams, dimensions, and colors of real rockets.
